When undergoing detoxification of the body, it is important to educate yourself. Many popular detoxes help regulate the digestive tract, and bowel function.
But when you start mobilizing toxins from your tissues, that is only one way the toxins leave the body. If the liver, kidneys and skin are not supported with the correct nutrients, the toxins can just move to another part of the body.
Many toxic substances are lipophilic, meaning fat loving, and get deposited in fat stores in the body. Unfortunately, fat surrounds our organs, and insulates our nerves. If you move toxins to these places, they can cause organ damage, including mutations that could lead to cancer, and damage the nerves resulting in neurological problems, or a general worsening of your health with fatigue and irritability.
